Again thieves in Castionese: two apartments in the sights

Break open the French windows of the terraces, but the damage seems limited. The owners will have to take an inventory before filing the complaint

BELLUNO. Two thefts in the houses of via San Cipriano, in Castion, in the late afternoon of Saturday. The two thefts recorded the day before yesterday in Castion, where both the police and the carabinieri intervened are still being evaluated. The time is now considered the most critical by the police, ie between 17 and 19. In both cases the hosts were out and returned only around dinner time.

In the first case, the inhabitants immediately realized that something was wrong: the French door that opens onto the terrace, in fact, had been broken into and was still open. The thieves worked quickly, rummaging in some rooms of the house, such as the living room and bedrooms, but neglecting other areas in search of money or valuables.

In the second case, however, the signs of burglary and the passage of thieves were so limited that the owners of the house became aware of the raid only after returning for about an hour. The modus operandi is very similar: the thieves entered by breaking into a window and quickly searched for money and valuables only in one part of the house.

The police intervened immediately, even with the support of the carabinieri, but at that moment the landlords still did not know exactly what had been stolen. In one case the thieves may not have found anything worth taking away.

Those interested were then invited to make an inventory of the precious objects to understand what is missing in order to then be able to file a detailed report for theft in the apartment in the coming days.i.a.
