The Felipe Abadía Moreno Agroecological Educational Institution, in the town of Chachajo, municipality of Alto Baudó, is destroyed and the students have been carrying out a fair protest for a week demanding urgent actions from the national, departmental and municipal governments.
The administrative disgrace and forgetfulness has reached the point that the school has no energy, its physical structure is demolished and on the verge of collapsing and causing a tragedy.
Students demand:
1. Reconstruction and repair of the School.
2. Construction of the School Restaurant.
3. Construction of Maximum Classroom.
4. Construction of systems room.
5. Construction of Administrative Block.
6. Expansion of primary school classrooms.
7. Appointment of the Psychocounsellor.
8. Appointments of Spanish, Computer Science and Mathematics teachers.
9. Construction of classroom for Grade Zero.
10. Appointment of administrative personnel (secretary, general services, guard among others).
Most of the schools and colleges in Chocó are in serious deterioration.
