Unknown people attacked a post office in the Dresden district of Pieschen on Friday evening shortly before closing time. The two men threatened an employee of the branch on Großenhainer Strasse with a pistol and demanded cash and cigarettes, the police announced on Sunday. The 44-year-old handed over what she wanted and the perpetrators reportedly fled with loot worth around 1,200 euros. No one was harmed, it was said. The investigators are looking for witnesses.
