The tentacles of the assailants in Cali hit the city both internally and externally.
In one of the most recent theft scenarios, heavily armed subjects entered the food supply center, Cavasa, located on the road that leads from the capital of Valle del Cauca to Candelaria.
Aboute six men with short and long weapons intimidated workers from the Caja Agraria and took a large sum of money, taking advantage of some shortcomings in security, on the afternoon of June 5.
“It is a fact in which criminalistics units are intervening. We are lifting all the evidence. The protocols that the banks have is that until they don’t count all the coins They do not give the amount of what was stolen, they are already making their counts to really inform us what the amount was. It is a fact that is being investigated, our Judicial Police, the Crime Laboratory and the security people, responsible for what corresponds to this financial entity, are providing us with all the necessary evidence to be able to capture these criminals”, explained the commander of the Cali Metropolitan Police, General José Daniel Gualdrón.
The Candelaria mayor’s office is handling a reward bag for capture those responsible for up to $20 million pesos.
The case recalled the robbery, also of armed men, at the facilities of the Office of Public Instruments, in the south of Cali, on April 27, which left three captures. Eight unknown persons committed the theft and authorities had offered up to a $100 million reward for their captures.
