The Department for Digital Transformation of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and AgID – Agency for Digital Italy are pleased to present the event “Artificial Intelligence for Italy“, which will be held on March 12, 2024, from 9.30 to 17.30, at the historic Corsie Sistine of Santo Spirito in Sassia in Rome.
“This initiative arises from the desire to fuel and promote a constructive exchange of ideas and projects on the future of AI in Italy, involving institutions, public administrations, businesses, universities and research centers in an open and productive dialogue” he has declared Alessio Butti, Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council with responsibility for technological innovation.
The event presents itself as a crucial moment for reflection on the role of AI in the country’s digital transformation process, offering a platform for discussion on the progress already made and future challenges. The event will be a useful moment of discussion in view of the updating of the “Italian strategy for artificial intelligence” and the upcoming meeting of the G7 Ministerial “Technology and Digital” within which the main topic of discussion will be that of artificial intelligence.
The agenda of the conference will touch on strategically relevant topics such as the level of digital skills in our country, the positioning of Italy in the international context of AI, the synergies between the business and academic worlds, the applications of AI in digitalisation of public administration and its contribution to industrial and artisanal development.
The event aims to provide concrete answers and outline development paths for the use of artificial intelligence that is responsible, inclusive and capable of stimulating economic growth and innovation while respecting ethical and social values.
Participation is open to representatives of public administrations, companies in the ICT and innovation sectoras well as to academic and research world.
