This Tuesday April 30, starting at 2:00 in the afternoon, the traditional Children’s and Youth Piloneros Parade will be held within the framework of the 57th edition of the Vallenata Legend Festival. The event will begin at the Alfonso López school, it will advance along Simón Bolívar Avenue until it reaches the Pedazo de Acordeón roundabout.
Taking into account the above, the Municipal Transit Secretary announced partial and total closures and diversions from 10:00 in the morning until the end of the tour.
The main detours and closures will be from the María Mulata roundabout, followed by the 14th Street with Simón Bolívar Avenue where vehicles will not be able to continue traveling from south to north on Simón Bolívar Avenue or Carrera 19.
The surroundings of the Parque de La Vida between 11th Street and 13th Street B will be conditioned with total closures to have an accommodation area for the groups participating in the parade, so that they can organize themselves before leaving, for this there are detours from the race 19 and 19 D between streets 11 and 13 B.
You will be given traffic management from one block before reach Simón Bolívar Avenue on the left side and on the right side, later at the end of the parade at the Pedazo de Acordeón roundaboutthere will also be partial closures so that vehicles do not take Simón Bolívar Avenue or Carrera 9, therefore, vehicles coming from the Guatapuri shopping center must turn right towards MAKRO and those coming from MAKRO will be able to enter the roundabout and necessarily turn left going up towards the Pilonera Mayor roundabout.
The ninth race will be closed from 5A Street (Casa en el Aire). Likewise, a buffer zone for the parade will be created from the Pedazo de Acordeón roundabout to Carrera 9 and Calle 6, where the participants will finish and leave the parade.
Road closures will remain in place until the end of the Piloneritos route.
