The autopsy on the body of the 39-year-old woman showed that she died by suicide, the public prosecutor’s office said. “There are no indications of third party intervention.”

Sissi’s lifeless body was found on Sunday around 5:30 PM near a house in Akkerstraat, a social residential area in Waarschoot. A young woman found the body at the back of a garden bordering arable land. “My dog always walked to the same place,” the woman testified. “I had no idea what he was doing there. Until I got closer and saw legs lying there. The rest of the body was wrapped in a plastic bag.”

Since then there has been a lot of uncertainty about what exactly happened to her. According to the public prosecutor’s office, there were indications that the woman was killed violently, but the autopsy showed that this was not the case.
