The new “Cashback with plate” service is active from today, valid on the network managed by Autostrade per l’Italia and developed by the start-up of the ASPI Free To X Group. 10 minutes late due to construction sites, compared to the current 15, for journeys up to 99 kilometers.
The refund
“The service makes reimbursement simpler and more automatic even for users who pay tolls with cards or cash, as is already the case for customers with electronic toll systems”, explains Aspi, and “it will be sufficient to register on the Free To X app, by entering your personal data and the vehicle license plate – which will be verified through the database of the Civil Motorization – to automatically receive the reimbursements accrued due to delays due to maintenance and modernization works on the motorway network. Once registered, the app will notify the refunds to which you are entitled and therefore you will not need to make any further requests “.
Receipt
Aspi informs that “thanks to the recognition of the license plate, the travel receipt (the so-called receipt) will no longer be necessary for travel on the Aspi network, even if it is still advisable to collect it at the toll booth: keeping it as a back-up can in fact be useful in the event of any anomaly in the reading of the license plate or, above all, in the event that the journey takes place only partially on the Aspi network, i.e. involving other motorway concessionaires other than Autostrade per l’Italia, on whose networks the cashback is not active”.
