The strong wave of bad weather that hit Liguria, where an orange alert is in progress, particularly hit the east of Genoa, creating serious flooding in Recco and Camogli where the water reached the car doors. The rain caused the Recco stream that runs through the city to overflow, causing the flooding of several streets and squares which were deserted following the alert.
