About seventy interventions in the Marche
(ANSA) – ANCONA, 09 JAN – The firefighters of Cagli (Pesaro Urbino) rescued a family in a Piobbico refuge, which due to an intense snowfall was no longer able to return home. About seventy snow interventions carried out by firefighters in the Marche region, hit by a wave of bad weather: 17 in the province of Ancona, 20 in that of Pesaro Urbino, 15 in that of Macerata and 20 between the provinces of Ascoli Piceno and Fermo . The interventions were mostly carried out to recover vehicles that were unable to leave. In Pesarese it snowed along the coast, while on Monte Nerone the snow cover reached a thickness of 30 cm.
