The Baoji Cultural Tourism Industry (Shanghai) Investment Promotion Conference was held in Shanghai on May 13, bringing together key players in the cultural tourism industry to discuss investment opportunities in the ancient city of Baoji.

The event, attended by influential figures such as Zhang Fengming, President of China Financial Information Center, Hou Dawei, Vice President of Xinhuanet Co., Ltd., and Chen Xiaoyun, Level 2 Inspector of the Cooperation and Exchange Office of Shanghai Municipal Government, highlighted Baoji’s rich history, beautiful scenery, and recent economic and social development achievements.

Bian Yani, Member of the Municipal Standing Committee and Director of the Propaganda Department, emphasized Baoji’s efforts in promoting the integrated development of culture, tourism, and business. The city has allocated significant funds for the development of the cultural tourism industry, aiming to position itself as a culturally strong city in the western region and a famous tourist city on the Silk Road.

During the conference, 13 cultural industry projects from Baoji were recommended, with agreements signed between the Propaganda Department of the Baoji Municipal Party Committee and Xinhuanet Co., Ltd., as well as the Baoji Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau and the Shanghai Dashanghui Industrial Platform.

The event also featured the screening of the Baoji city promotional video “The Wind Comes from Baoji,” showcasing the city’s unique cultural heritage and tourism offerings. Over 120 representatives from well-known cultural, business, and tourism companies in Shanghai attended the conference, expressing their interest in potential collaboration with Baoji.

Overall, the Investment Promotion Conference served as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and potential investment opportunities in Baoji’s cultural tourism industry, aiming to pave the way for a brighter future for the city’s cultural and economic development.
