Beijing suspends the opening of indoor exhibition halls of the city’s museums and some museums issue closing announcements

The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics issued a notice on the 2nd that according to the current epidemic prevention and control needs, in order to effectively prevent the risk of clustering, all indoor exhibition halls of museums in Beijing should be temporarily closed from now on. The reopening time will be announced later.
On the same day, many museums issued closing announcements. According to the requirements of Beijing’s epidemic prevention and control work, the China Garden Museum, the Capital Museum, the Beijing Imperial Temple Museum, the Beijing Luxun Museum, and the Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum have issued notices, which will be temporarily suspended from May 3, and the reopening time will be announced later.
