The latest challenge that is popular on Tik Tok is the “Boiler summer cup”: the attempt to lure overweight girls in the disco, post the video on social media and then challenge other guys to find one of even greater weight. On the net it was immediately defined “shameful” but still managed to go viral.
The challenge is expected to start on June 21, but many have started the game which is a concentrate of bullying, body shaming and misogyny. The aim is to get more girls to collect more points. The videos and posts are chilling: “I touched a 130 kg boiler”. “I can’t go over 70 kg”. “That looks like a 100/110 to me.” Most of the lured girls are unaware that they are victims of a challenge.
Many girls on social media reply indignantly. One of them publishes a video and writes: “The boilers that look at them in disgust”.
