An 83-year-old hang glider to his own second flight of the day, he had just faced the Col del Puppolo launch pad, when something went wrong.

The victim is Enzo Giordani, from Montebelluna, 83 years old. He was one of the most experienced hang gliders around, a lover of speed.
Today he had already taken a ride with his “racing” hang gliderbut too little was left in the air, he told his friends. One of his typical phrases was “I can’t lower the average “. So once he got back to the top, he decided to launch again to mark the flight and soar in the sky, looking at the landscape from above.
“For us to become like him was the dream”, says a friend of the club, Lorenzo “one day we would all like to reach his age and fly again. He was the most enthusiastic of all, as well as a great expert”.
