CAN 2023/DRC-Cote d’Ivoire: the comeback of Gael Kakuta, after the injury

The national coach of the DRC, Sébastien Désarbre, started Gael Kakuta on Wednesday, February 7, who was absent from the field following an injury.

It is as part of the DRC-Cote d’Ivoire match, counting for the semi-final of CAN 2023 at the Ebimpe stadium in Abidjan.

Member of Amiens SC (France), Gael Kakuta intends to lead the attack of the DRC needing to score and win this meeting.

Sébastien Désarbre also launched Cédric Bakambu, Yoane Wissa and Meschack Elia on the offensive.

The Congolese defense will be led by Chancel Mbemba, Arthur Maswaku, and Gédéon Kalulu while the midfield will be occupied by Charles Pickel and Samuel Moutousamy.
