In Yopal, the act of adhesion of the department of Casanare to the Andean Network of Territorial Authorities of the Andean Parliament was carried out, a supranational and democratic international organization that has the countries of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru as members.

This agreement was agreed between Governor César Ortiz Zorro and the president of the representative body of the Andean countries, Cristina Reyes, and the Secretary General, Eduardo Chiliquinga Mazón.

The alliance between the Government and the Andean community means a great opportunity for transformation for the department through an agenda of international cooperation, investment of resources, union of efforts between institutions, replication of social policies and successful projects, among others.

In addition, the signing of the inter-institutional cooperation framework agreement between Casanare and the Andean Parliament was made official; which opens the doors to the department to Latin American countries and territorial authorities attached to the supranational organization, in order to build a strong, supportive region and a reference for public management.

This strategic alliance already has the participation of 400 young people who are training as Andean university parliamentarians and will have the opportunity to access the best universities in the Andean countries. Finally, Ortiz Zorro announced that the Andean Parliament will have an office in Casanare and will be an advisory body to his Government.
