Girl of Swedish origin was lost, surprised by pouring rain and cold
REAL CERESOLE. A girl of Swedish origin gets lost at high altitude at night and is saved by the Alpine Rescue teams.
She risked serious consequences after getting lost on the return journey from the Jervis refuge in Ceresole Reale. Despite the uncertain weather, on Thursday the girl left Ceresole Reale where she stopped off, to reach the Jervis refuge.
On the way back, however, the path got lost and got lost in the woods, under a continuous and beating rain. Fortunately, she had her cell phone with her, which allowed her to ask for help from the mountain rescue.
The volunteers of the Orco Valley Station formed two teams and soon reached the unfortunate one
hiker, very cold and scared but in good general condition.
She was given first care and dry clothes, as it continued to rain. The first steps of the descent were very painful, due to hypothermia and shock, then gradually she became animated and was able to reach, obviously accompanied and supported by volunteers, an ambulance that ascertained her conditions and was able to accompany her to Ceresole, where it had its base.
