The CGIL secretariat returns to nine, with four new entries and three exits: with the go-ahead from the general assembly of the union, the (now former) leader of Fiom, Francesca Re David, entered (in parallel the blue overalls elected their new general secretary, Michele De Palma) and three regional general secretaries: Luigi Giove (Emilia Romagna), Daniela Barbaresi (Marche) and Christian Ferrari (Veneto). Instead, Rossana Dettori, Ivana Galli and Roberto Ghiselli came out (on pole towards the INPS Civ, where the current president Guglielmo Loy is about to expire).

The new secretariat proposed by Maurizio Landini obtained 185 votes in favor, 34 against and 18 abstentions from the CGIL assembly. Among the entrances there is, in fact, that of King David who became the general secretary of Fiom with the passage of Landini in 2017 at the helm of the CGIL.

Four women out of 9 members

With these entries, the confederal secretariat of Corso d’Italia returns to 9 members – 4 of which women -, the same number as the last congress in Bari, then dropped to eight because in 2020 the former deputy secretary general was never replaced Vincenzo Colla, who became Emilia Romagna’s councilor for economic development and labor.

Let’s see what subjects the 9 members of the secretariat will cover. In the attribution of proxies, the general secretary Maurizio Landini it maintains organization representation and institutional relations, contractual strategies including cultural policies, sustainable development and stable employment, European and international policies, communication, trade union training, gender policies.

The organization attributed to Luigi Giove

A “heavy” delegation, that of the organization has been attributed to Luigi Jupiter, which will deal with management policies, membership, services, digital transformation, resources and budget policies. Only one Deputy Secretary General remains, Gianna Fracassiwhich continues to deal with the area of ​​development policies, i.e. economic policies (including the Next Generation Eu), climate and environment, green transformation, tax policies, work plan and territorial bargaining for development, policies for reconstruction ( earthquake), urban and housing development, services and the tertiary sector, and of the project office “the union in the new 4.0 revolution.
