Luo Changping, a well-known Chinese media person, was even detained for “insulting the heroes of the Volunteers to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea” for commenting on “Changjin Lake”. Luo Changping shocked the CCP in one sentence
The Suburban Procuratorate of Sanya City, Hainan Province claimed on the night of October 8 that “decided to file a civil public interest lawsuit against Luo Mouping for infringing on the reputation and honor of heroes and martyrs and launch an investigation.”

The movie “Changjin Lake” was sponsored by the Chinese Communist government and was screened during the long holiday of November. The box office revenue has reached 3.3 billion yuan.
The film tells that during the Korean War, the Chinese Communist army and the United Nations army, dominated by the U.S. army, fought at Changjin Lake. A large number of CCP soldiers were frozen to death because they did not have warm clothing. The CCP called it the “Ice Sculpture Company.”
Luo Changping refers to the “Ice Sculpture Company” in the play as the “Sand Sculpture Company”, and “Sand Sculpture” means “stupid and brainless” in Internet language. This also triggered a siege by the official media. Official media such as the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of the Communist Party of China (CYL) published articles bombarding him, accusing him of “insulting the heroes”.
