Confindustria, green light from the General Council to three new vice presidents

At the end of half of the mandate, the presidential team of Carlo Bonomi, in Confindustria, changes for 2022-2024 with three changes: Katia Da Ros has been designated for the delegations to the environment, sustainability and culture, Pasquale Lorusso for the delegation to the economy of the sea, Agostino Santoni for digital delegation.

The handover

In the first case it is among Venetian industrialists, from Treviso: Maria Cristina Piovesana leaves and Katia Da Rold enters the family business, Irinox of Corbanese di Tarzo, market leader for products such as its blast chillers or electrical panels in steel. Instead, the alternation on the themes of the sea economy was played in the South that the Calabrian Natale Mazzuca hands over to the Lucanian Pasquale Lorusso, president of the Bawer of Matera which produces steel products, high technology and innovation, for automotive, medical and museum installations. On digital, the former CEO of Tim, Luigi Gubitosi, leaves the delegation to the vice president of Cisco for Southern Europe, Agostino Santoni, president of Confindustria Digitale since last October.

The team at the top

The three new vice-presidents were appointed by the General Council of Confindustria (with 5 votes against out of 148 voters. 176 those entitled to vote) on the proposal of the president; the assembly will elect them on May 27th. The other members of the team at the top of Viale dell’Astronomia are also confirmed for the second two years of Carlo Bonomi’s mandate: Barbara Beltrame, with responsibility for internationalization; Giovanni Brugnoli, with responsibility for human capital; Francesco De Santis, with responsibility for research and development; Maurizio Marchesini, with responsibility for supply chains and medium-sized enterprises; Alberto Marenghi, with responsibility for organization, development and associative marketing; Emanuele Orsini, with responsibility for credit, finance and the tax authorities; Maurizio Stirpe, with responsibility for work and industrial relations, in addition to the vice-presidents by right: Giovanni Baroni, president of the Small Industry; Riccardo Di Stefano, president of the Young Entrepreneurs; Vito Grassi, president of the Council of Regional Representations and for territorial cohesion policies.
