The city of Gonzaga is looking for residents. For this reason, the Municipality has published two tenders which provide for those wishing to move their residence to the city a contribution on the rent and, the second, the possibility of renting 67 new apartments recently renovated with Pnrr funds at a social rent.
“Today – said the mayor Mattia Palazzi at the presentation of the measures – one of the first problems is the increase in the cost of rents, the second concerns wages which have not grown for years. We cannot do anything about wages, but about the cost of rents with We are linking this measure to the offer of new jobs and Mantua to a policy of incentives for residence in our municipality”.
The first tender called ‘Welcome to the city’ offers 150 euros per month for one year to workers, individuals and families under 36, who move their residence to Mantua; for those under 36 already resident in Mantua but who want to live alone the contribution will be paid for 24 months. Those under 36 must have an ISEE between 9,500 and 40 thousand euros, all other workers between 14 thousand and 40 thousand. The second tender, ‘Living in Borgochiesanuova’, allows those with an income from work and an ISEE of between 14 thousand and 40 thousand euros to access the 67 municipal housing units and to have a controlled rent compared to rents on the free market.
