In horse racing, whoever wins the photo-finish of a few centimeters, it is said that he wins with a “short nose”. In an old press conference as a Juventus coach, the Livorno-born Massimiliano Allegri used this concept to explain that even in football you can impose yourself on the measure, so much so as to make it a theory that the old lady married to sanction the beginning of the second marriage. with Allegri, who returned to the Juventus bench this year.

President Andrea Agnelli also reiterated that the important thing is to get to the front; a goal or a point more than the others is enough, it is not necessary to leave the gap behind. If anything were needed, even the Olympics just ended in Tokyo have enriched the blue medal table with medals won by a whisker: one above all is the gold in the 4x100m won by the Italian quartet formed by Jacobs, Patta, Desalu and Tortu.
