UDINE. In Friuli Venezia Giulia the number of infections in the week from 19 to 25 August increased by almost 20 percent (19.32%) compared to those recorded from 12 to 18 August. In fact, if from 12 to 18 August the total sum of positivity touches 593, in the following week it reaches 708.
Here are the data of the last week: on 19 August 68 new cases of Covid-19 were registered in the region, on 20 August the positives were 113, on 21 103 and on 22 they dropped to 78. The day of 24 did score only 25 infections which then rose to 99 infections on the 24th. On Wednesday 25 August it reached 222.
As for the number of swabs carried out in Fvg and the positivity rate, we have gone from 5,184 tests on Thursday 19 August (molecular and antigenic: the positivity rate of the former was 1.8% while the latter 0.46%) to 8,031 on Wednesday 25 August (the positivity rate of the former is 4.2% and the latter 0.51%)
