(ANSA) – LONDON, APRIL 08 – The United Kingdom no longer has the European record in the sad ranking of deaths from Covid in relation to the population since the beginning of the pandemic. This is certified by the data of the day, which see the island line up another 53 deaths, with only 3030 new infections in the 24 hours and a total of vaccines rose to 38 million (6 million recalls); in addition to recording 92% fewer deaths in England and Wales than the peak in January. Among the greats of Europe, the Kingdom now follows Italy, while Spain is one step away in terms of the percentage of victims.
