Covid, the bulletin of Saturday 27 November: 728 new cases of contagion in Fvg, six deaths

Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia out of 8,395 molecular swabs, 665 new infections have been detected with a positive percentage of 7.92%. In addition, 16,456 rapid antigenic tests have been carried out, from which 63 cases (0.38%) were detected.

Today there are 6 deaths: a 100-year-old man from Ronchi dei Legionari who died in a residence for the elderly, an 88-year-old man from Savogna d’Isonzo who died in hospital, an 87-year-old man from Trieste who died at home, an 84-year-old man from Capriva del Friuli who died in hospital, an 84-year-old woman from Trieste who died in hospital and, finally, an 82-year-old man from Gorizia who died in hospital. People admitted to intensive care drop to 26, while patients in other departments are 260.

This was announced by the deputy governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.

The deaths totaled 3,961, with the following territorial subdivision: 904 in Trieste, 2,041 in Udine, 700 in Pordenone and 316 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 118,780, the clinically healed 163, while the people in isolation are 6,679.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 129,869 people have been positive (the total of cases has been reduced by two units following the revision of the same number of rapid tests) with the following territorial subdivision: 30,358 in Trieste, 56,522 in Udine, 25,172 in Pordenone, 16,028 in Gorizia and 1,789 from outside the region.

As regards the regional health system, the positive results of: an administrative, two technicians, a doctor, a nurse and two social and health workers of the Giuliano Isontina university health company were found; an administrative, a nurse and a midwife from the Friuli Occidentale health agency; a technician, two nurses and a socio-health worker from the Friuli Centrale University Health Authority.

Finally, 18 cases were detected among the guests of the residences for the elderly in the region (Trieste, Grado, Cormons, San Daniele del Friuli and Montereale Valcellina) and the positivity of 3 operators working in the structures (Trieste) was found.
