Covid, the epidemic curve in the Belluno area is still decreasing

In the week from 7 to 13 February the incidence of new infections per 100 thousand inhabitants dropped to 808. Three, however, the elderly died

BELLUNO. The epidemic curve precipitates in the province of Belluno. From the more than two thousand weekly cases recorded until some time ago, in the week from 7 to 13 February the new positives detected were 1,613, 915 less than the previous week with a consequent incidence rate of 808 new cases per 100 thousand inhabitants. A number that after a while is lower than the national average incidence (813 per 100 thousand inhabitants). Unfortunately, however, the deaths do not stop: between 12 and 13 February three people respectively aged 81, 88 and 90 died who were hospitalized.

There are 3,445 positives to date, Monday 14 February, in the Ulss 1 Dolomiti area, while sixty-one are hospitalized, of which 39 in non-critical area, one in intensive care and 21 in community hospital

This does not mean that the cases of contagion have disappeared: the virus still circulates in the Belluno area so that practically all the municipalities still register new infections.

The age group most affected remains that of 45 to 64 years, followed by that of 25 to 44 years and finally that of zero to 14 years.

The quantity of molecular and antigenic swabs that are performed is still high: the week from 7 to 13 February, 1,600 swabs were performed for every 100 thousand inhabitants.
