Less than 8,000 beds occupied in hospitals

The patients admitted to the ordinary and intensive Covid beds of hospitals yesterday were 7,879 against 9,011 on Sunday 8 May. The drop was therefore very important, of 12.5%, and more than 10% last week. It was since December of last year, five months ago, that the commitment of the hospitals was so small. As for intensive therapies alone, the descent is slower, also because the absolute numbers are low. Yesterday the hospitalized were 347 against 356 last week. In this case the reduction was 2.5%. As for resuscitations, the numbers are as high as they were in October 2021.
