On May 29 and 30, the National Civil Service Commission (CNSC), in alliance with the Municipal Mayor’s Office of Yopal and the Government of Casanare, and the support of the ESAP will hold the Macroregional Meeting: the power of meritocracy in the territory, in the city of Yopal, in the Casanare Chamber of Commerce (main headquarters), in race 29 #14-4.

During the days of the event, conferences and training will be held on topics associated with meritocracy and the missionality of the CNSC, such as the provision of public jobs through selection processes, the administration of the administrative career, preventive surveillance, corrective and sanctioning, as well as the challenges that meritocracy faces in legal matters, to publicize the most important management tools for territorial entities.

It has the participation of entities such as the Administrative Department of the Public Service and the Higher School of Public Administration, as well as actors from the public administration of the Orinoquía region and the commissioners, directors and advisors of the National Civil Service Commission .

At the same time, the CNSC will provide on-site care through its collaborators and officials, who will attend to the requirements that entities, public servants and citizens have in relation to the entity.

The meeting is aimed at public servants (career civil servants, members of personnel commissions, provisional civil servants, contractors), local authorities, civil society organizations, academia and citizens in general interested in selection processes and management of the entity.

The first meeting of 2024 took place in the city of Barranquilla and continues its journey in the capital of the department of Casanare.

Selection processes in the Orinoquía

Currently, the National Civil Service Commission has several selection processes in execution and planning to continue with the work of ensuring that promotion and entry into the administrative career is through merit. Regarding the Orinoquía region, there are 12 selection processes in progress that offer 3,937 vacancies, of which 379 of them are offered in Yopal. While of eight merit contests in the planning phase, 1,724 vacancies will be offered in this region of the country, of which 147 correspond to the capital of Casanare.
