The three previously notified cases were all infected with the Delta mutant strain of the Chinese Communist virus (Wuhan pneumonia, COVID-19) that appeared in India. Mayong Town, Dongguan City today (June 24) conducted the fourth round of nucleic acid testing for all employees; Dongguan has suspended offline training services of all training institutions since June 23.
According to a comprehensive Lu media report, on the afternoon of June 24, the Dongguan epidemic prevention and control press conference reported that the first local confirmed case in this round of the epidemic in Dongguan, Li XX, and the other two cases, Jia XX and Jing, were all the same. Transmission chain, all infected with Delta mutant strain (B.1.617.2).
Machong Town, Dongguan City issued a notice requesting Macong Town to conduct nucleic acid screening for all employees on the afternoon of June 24. This is the fourth round of nucleic acid testing for all employees in the current round of the epidemic in the town.
Earlier, from the early morning of June 18 to the morning of June 19, Machong had carried out the second round of full-staff nucleic acid testing throughout the town, and the third round of full-staff nucleic acid testing began on June 20.
The Dongguan Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters Office announced that from June 23, all training institutions in the city will stop offline training services, and must not organize centralized training, on-site consultation and any form of gathering activities.
In addition, Guangzhou Xinhua University (Dongguan campus) had previously confirmed the diagnosis of two students in succession, and the school is currently closed. On the evening of June 22, more than 1,000 students in the No. 14 dormitory where the two confirmed students were boarding were all transferred to quarantine.
