There were two accidents on the A2 near Braunschweig on Monday. Three people were seriously injured. As the police announced this morning, a 50-year-old driver hit a tractor-trailer in the direction of Hanover on Monday night. The 50-year-old’s car rolled over and came to rest on its roof. The driver and two passengers, aged 23 and 60, were seriously injured. According to the police, the 50-year-old driver was under the influence of alcohol. The road was closed. Two other vehicles then collided in the traffic jam. According to the police, no one was injured. However, operating fluids leaked, meaning the road had to be cleaned.
