El Dane ratifies the poor quality of life in Chocó

On April 24, 2024, Dane revealed the figures from the National Quality of Life Survey for the year 2023.

While on average in Colombia 47.43 percent of families feel that they are poor, in Chocó it rises to 81.7 percent, the second highest perception of poverty in the country, after Vichada.

Other data related to Chocó are the following:

Internet access: Colombia, 61.9%. Crashed, 18%.

Satisfaction that people over 15 years of age have with free time. Colombia, 7.6%. Chocó, 6.7% (the lowest in the country).

Homes with housing deficiencies: Colombia, 28.9%. Crashed, 88.4%

People between 17 and 21 years old who have higher education: Colombia, 32.2%. Chocó, 14.5%
