SAYCO has everything ready to receive the 98 National Delegates who will attend the 2024 General Assembly, on March 21 and 22 in Bogotá. This is a crucial meeting where the proposals will be studied and guidelines will be taken on the most important issues for the company and its partners.
The Assembly, which will be held at the Cultural headquarters of SAYCO Calle 40, will be attended by 64 delegates who will represent the nearly 11 thousand members of the country, in addition, representatives of 24 music publishers, 3 members of the Surveillance Committee and 7 members of the Board of Directors.
The meeting will be led by the President of SAYCO, Rafael Manjarrez Mendoza, who highlighted that: “the Assembly is an opportunity to meet again with the composers and the space to discuss current aspects of society.” Likewise, he highlighted the state of gratitude and satisfaction that the members feel for the entity. One of the points on the agenda will be the presentation of the General Management report, in which each of the directors of the different areas make a balance of his management. The approval of the financial statements for the 2023 period and the election of the Statutory Auditor will also be put to a vote.
