ROVEREDO IN PIANO. The former mayor Danilo Del Piero died Wednesday afternoon at the hospice in San Vito al Tagliamento. He was 71 and had been ill for some time. He was born in Roveredo in Piano, son of Maurilio, author of several books on the history of the town.
In 1995 he was a mayoral candidate with a center-left civic list, “Prospettiva 2000”: he was elected and reconfirmed in 1999 until 2004.
