The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) obtained sentences of up to 200 years in prison for several MS-13 gang members who committed various crimes between 2014 and 2019.
The gang members who were convicted are responsible for 23 aggravated homicides, among the victims are students, murdered because the defendants considered them to be police informants or people they considered belonged to opposing gangs.
Also, these criminals were also attributed 16 cases of aggravated extortion against several merchants, as well as the crime of disappearance of people.
The accused gang members operated in the sectors of Sonsonate, Nahuizalco, Nahulingo, Sonzacate and San Antonio del Monte.
