One hectare of pasture in smoke. Help from heaven is essential to prevent the stake from spreading
SANT’ANTONIO DI GALLURA. The forces from the ground were not enough to contain the flames. For this reason, a helicopter was required.
The fire developed in the countryside of the municipality of Sant’Antonio in the afternoon, in the locality of “Li Colti”. The personnel of the Calangianus Forestry Corps Station coordinated the shutdown, assisted by the helicopter personnel on board the helicopter coming from the Limbara base.
Some teams on the ground have provided for the reclamation of the perimeter. The fire covered an area of about 1 hectare of bushy pastures.
The shutdown operations of the aircraft ended at 6.40 pm.
