Four hikers stranded in a canal, help are taken

by admin

RESIA. Four hikers asked for help at Nue112 shortly after 9pm on Thursday 12 August in Val Resia, in the Julian Alps. Some acquaintances were expected at Malga Coot, including some former members of the Alpine and Speleological Rescue who had noticed their delay.

The hikers got stuck in a deep canal crossed by a stream and were fortunately spotted. The teams are still working to bring them back downstream.
