Elisabetta Savigni Ullman, pouting with Donald, smiles with Joe
(ANSA) – ROME, OCTOBER 30 – The video and photos in which the different expressions of Elisabetta Savigni Ullman, Italian translator of the White House, are popular, on two different occasions in which she has accompanied the last American presidents, Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
His sullen faces, between stunned and angry, while translating the words of the Republican president in his meeting with the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella at the White House in 2019 had caused a sensation, and the lady, from Livorno who has lived in the US since 1989 and who has worked with many presidents starting with Bill Clinton, yesterday did an encore: next to Joe Biden and Pope Francis she appeared smiling and amused by the words of the president.
On the other hand, many also compare the expressions of Pope Francis on the two occasions: decidedly gloomy with Trump and more than cordial with Biden. (HANDLE).
