Giorgio Napolitano discharged from the hospital. Lo Spallanzani: “Regular post-operative course”

ROME. The president emeritus of the republic, Giorgio Napolitano, was discharged this morning from the general surgery and transplant ward. The postoperative course was regular, Spallanzani said.

Napolitano will continue the rehabilitation therapy in a dedicated environment. “In my personal name and in the name of the Institute, the best wishes to the president for a speedy recovery”, says Francesco Vaia, general manager of Spallanzani.
