A grand opening party took place in the modern sports center of the city of Santa Rita.
This weekend the official inauguration of the modern Municipal Sports Center “Dr. Ramón Benítez” in the city of Santa Rita. For the occasion, a great sports party was organized that was attended by the governor of Alto Paraná, César Landy Torres, the local mayor Edgar Torres, as well as municipal, government and sports authorities. This work, which was a long-awaited dream of all the people of Santa Cruz, finally became a reality.
The modern venue will be an ideal space for sporting and cultural events in the region. At the same time, the lower championship of the Santarriteña FIFA Futsal Federation was inaugurated, with the participation of several delegations. As an attraction and first dispute in the new venue, a friendly match was held between the Santarriteña senior team against Olearyense.
About the work
The Municipal Sports Center erected on the grounds of the Santa Rita Atlético Sports and Social Club, whose founding members donated the space, has a capacity for 2,500 people. The financing of the work was carried out by the Government of Alto Paraná, with an investment of G. 5,489,906,105. It has modern facilities, with 2,772 m2 and 1,604 m2 for parking.
