In that sense, Sanjuán assured that, due to his knowledge in public procurement, he defends that the important thing about a contractual object is that it is fulfilled.
“I have learned that the contractor has requested an additional value from the territorial entity for some new works that must be done inside the building (…) It is not a decision that we have made completely. CONTEXT
On March 23, the Cesar Governorate accepted the request for an eight-month addition to finish the construction of the Vallenata Music Cultural Center. The third addition requested by ‘A Construir’, the contractor in charge, was due this March 26, however it could not meet the deadline. For this reason, December of this year was established as the new delivery date.

Along with the extension of time, the contractor requested a budget addition of $41,322 million to complete the work and implement the requested modifications. According to the contractor, larger quantities and additional works not foreseen in the initial budget were requested, including adjustments to the structural and architectural designs, electrical installations and communications installations, among others.
