On December 23, 2023, Colombians received the tragic news of the death of the ‘Juglar sabanero’, Lisandro Meza, who died after remaining in critical condition in a clinic in Sincelejo.
Two weeks after his death, one of his granddaughters shared a sensitive video on her social networks in which she not only said goodbye to her grandfather, but also paid tribute to his life.
“Everything is said, I will love you and carry you forever in my heart. “God received you my fat man!”wrote the young Talina Lora Meza.
‘I’ll take you’, a song performed by maestro Lisandro Meza, was chosen by Talina to accompany the images and videos in which the Sabanero Juglar is seen with his granddaughter.
Photos with his family also appear in the clip and in one of the videos you can see the moment when his health began to decline. Master Lisandro appears semi-lying on the stretcher in a medical center, he looks thin and his movements are slow.
