In January, Netflix premiered the series ‘Griselda’, which tells the story of one of the most influential drug traffickers in the cocaine trade.
This production compiles part of the life of the also known as ‘The Godmother’, telling from her most intimate life to the challenges she faced to become a leader in the distribution of this drug both nationally and internationally.
According to the TMZ portal, Griselda Blanco’s youngest son, Michael Corleone, would have sued the production from Netflix and its co-producer Sofía Vergara, for copyright. Their goal was to get the launch suspended.

This is because the platform allegedly made unauthorized use of Griselda Blanco’s names and surnames, as well as multiple family references for the production of the series.

After almost a month of having imposed the lawsuit, it was reported that both parties managed to reach an out-of-court agreement, which led to the Griselda’s family to deny the assumptions raised on January 17.
Precisely, the information was provided by the magazine Hollywood Reporter, which cited some court documents obtained, thus ending the lawsuit process initiated by Michael Corleone, also known as son of ‘The Black Widow’.
