Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rehman while talking to the media in Lahore said that there is a huge crisis in the whole country including Punjab. Because the government is not buying wheat, if this is the state of agriculture, then what will happen to the country, industries are closing down, severe crisis is emerging.
He said that our agriculture sector is being killed at night, the aid price of Rs 3900 is very low.
He said that the Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haque and the Caretaker Minister allowed the import and the ship arrived within a week. If there was wheat, why was wheat imported from abroad, they took money by begging the IMF and unnecessarily. Wheat Mangwali, importers earned thousands of rupees, all those involved should be exposed.
He stressed that there should be a judicial inquiry into the matter, everyone should appear before this commission of inquiry.
