Today, Tuesday in Rabat, the Director General of National Security and Territorial Surveillance, Abdellatif Hammouchi, held discussions with the Commissioner General of Information of the Spanish Kingdom, Eugenio Pereiro Blanco, who is currently on a working visit to Morocco, accompanied by an important security delegation.

A statement from the General Directorate of National Territorial Surveillance stated that this meeting falls within the context of bilateral meetings between officials of the security and intelligence services in the Kingdom of Morocco and its northern neighbor, Spain, with the aim of discussing ways and mechanisms for developing joint cooperation between the two countries in various security fields.

The same source added that this meeting constituted a new opportunity to evaluate the outcome and level of distinguished security cooperation between the two sides, and to review various topics of common interest, as well as to monitor and anticipate all emerging risks and challenges and ways to confront them from a common perspective.

The communication concluded that this meeting embodies, once again, the extreme importance and advanced level of bilateral cooperation between the security services in the Kingdoms of Morocco and Spain, which stems from the depth of the strategic partnership that brings together the two countries.
