He approaches an elderly man and with an excuse slips a ten thousand euro watch off his wrist

LATISANA. She approached in a particularly kind manner as the old man was walking on the sidewalk and with an excuse she managed to take a valuable watch off his wrist. She was the victim of the theft with dexterity, an 80-year-old man of German nationality.

It happened on the afternoon of Thursday 30 June, in Aprilia Marittima. The woman pretended to ask the eighty-year-old for directions and, taking advantage of a moment’s distraction, she carried out the theft. The loot exceeds 10 thousand euros.

The elderly man, who only later realized that he had been robbed, reported the incident to the Latisana carabinieri, who are carrying out investigations also with the help of the cameras in the area.
