Man Arrested for Indecent Exposure and Illegal Weapon Possession in Socorro
Socorro Police arrested a man on Tuesday for allegedly exposing himself in a supermarket parking lot and being in possession of a small handgun, authorities reported.
Raul Alex MR, 23, of Tornillo, was taken into custody on charges of indecent exposure and illegal possession of a weapon. He was booked into the central El Paso County jail with a total bond set at $5,000.
The incident unfolded when officers received a call about a man masturbating in the parking lot of the Vista Market Quality Market Socorro, located at 10005 Alameda Avenue, around 2:40 p.m. The man had left before the police arrived, but he was later found in the parking lot of the nearby Walmart Neighborhood Market at 10301 Alameda Ave.
When Raul Alex MR was detained, he was allegedly found to be in possession of a small handgun, according to authorities.
