That of stealing alms from the faithful by means of an extensible meter and the bio-adhesive glued, it is a rather widespread type of theft in recent times and which in recent months has been discovered several times by the carabinieri.
The most striking case: in November, father and son had been taken, who had traveled five provinces in 48 hours, grinding kilometers in a car with a Croatian license plate, without knowing that they had stolen alms in 14 churches in Treviso, Belluno, Pordenone, Venice and also in the province of Padua.
