Health Junkyard – Mashriq TV

Pakistan ranks 154 out of 195 countries in terms of treatment and facilities in the health sector. This year, the federal government has set aside 24.21 billion rupees for health in Pakistan. While Singapore, which has a total population of five million, has allocated 36 billion Singapore dollars for the health sector. While the value of one Singapore dollar is currently more than two hundred and eleven rupees, that is, this small country has spent 7596 billion rupees on health. You can guess from this that the government of Pakistan has kept only one hundred rupees in the annual budget for every Pakistani. Although Pakistan has not made exemplary progress in any sector, there are health and education sectors in which Pakistan’s lack of development has led to its destruction. Currently, allopathy, homeopathy, medicine and hundreds of other self-made treatment systems are working in Pakistan. Among them, the system of allopathy is accepted by the World Health Organization (WHO). The quality of medicines in Pakistan is not as per WHO standards. A research paper published in Oxford Academic claims that out of every five medicines available in Pakistan, only one is of high quality, the other four are substandard and in most cases unusable. You will see the same drug being sold under different names in the market. The number of registered drugs in Pakistan is more than fifty thousand, while in America this number is only nineteen thousand. That is, the country that spends only one hundred rupees per year on its citizens has more than fifty thousand registered medicines and the country that spends more than thirty seven lakh rupees on each of its citizens in terms of health has only It is nineteen thousand. Currently more than fifty to fifty five percent of medicines available in Pakistan are substandard and substandard. These are approved by Dr. The number of medicines which are not approved by DRAP are also in thousands and they are also sold openly in the market. For which there are separate markets in every city, which are called the black market of medicines. For example, there is a market in Namak Mandi in Peshawar where drugs are available on wholesale at less than their original price and from these markets you also get drugs made by other countries other than Pakistan which are not approved by the government of Pakistan. Hoti, which the shopkeepers buy and give seeds in the markets. The same is the case in other parts of the country where these cheap drugs are available in bulk. Most of the doctors prescribe these drugs for their temporary benefit, in exchange for which the companies give them gifts, trips to different regions and countries and those who are a bit famous. Even cars are given. Doctors prescribe medicines to patients many times more than they need. Thus, the business of these two medicines is continuously developing. In Peshawar’s Dabgri Garden, lakhs of patients come daily from all over the province and Afghanistan. Most of the doctors and medicine sellers sitting there are robbing them with both hands. Along with the loss of money, these unnecessary and two-number medicines instead of improving their health make them face more complications. Apart from this, there are hundreds of hakims and homeopathy doctors in every street and market, who are playing with human health. Every day, millions of people are destroying their health at the hands of these gifts. And the government does not say anything to them. There are thousands of dealers in Peshawar and other cities. They are selling the cheapest steroids available in the market. This is having a very bad effect on the health of people in Pakistan. Practically no work is being done to end it in Pakistan. People associated with the health sector should be highly skilled in their profession. Because it is directly related to human lives. Most of the people associated with the health sector in Pakistan are not trained in this field. Currently, the medical education in Pakistan is not in any way up to the standards of the world. Then since this education has gone into the hands of the private sector, every year millions of only degree holders reach hospitals and clinics to play with people’s lives. The current ranking of Pakistani doctors is 88th out of 89 countries. All this is because the medical education department in Pakistan is just printing notes. While there was a time when doctors graduated from government medical colleges were in demand in America and other countries of the world. Thousands of medical doctors are still shining the name of the country all over the world. But in the last one decade, the standards of medical education have decreased so much that Pakistani doctors are no longer in demand anywhere in the world. Pakistanis are not only in Pakistan but also going to China and other Central Asian countries to get high level medical education due to which the health sector is suffering from further deterioration. Then, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council, the institution that looks after this sector in Pakistan, has also become a machine for making interests and money, which the political governments have almost destroyed in their subjugation cycle. Not only Pakistani medicines are available in Pakistan, but two Indian medicines are also available here everywhere. Everyone knows how these medicines are smuggled into Pakistan. This poison is reaching Pakistan from Afghanistan. Then these two drugs are being smuggled from the borders of Punjab and Sindh and reaching Pakistan. Which is not tried to be stopped and there is no practical restriction on its sale. In the factory market of Peshawar, there is a whole market for it. Where you can find all types of Indian medicine. Along with this, Turkish medicines are also smuggled. Pakistan is an unfortunate country in the world which does not manufacture many cancer drugs. These drugs are smuggled from India, Bangladesh and Turkey. Currently in Pakistan the prices of life saving medicines and medicines for cancer, diabetes and other permanent diseases are so high that no common Pakistani can afford them. Pakistan is the only country in the world where you can go to the market and buy any medicine you want. They can easily take it. While it is written on top of each medicine that this medicine can be sold only on the prescription of an expert and authorized doctor. People working in drug factories are not experts in pharmacy or related sciences. People selling medicine in the market are illiterate. The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa made a law in 2017 that only pharmacists will be able to sell medicines. But it was not implemented even for a single day. Go to any apothecary’s shop, the frog-felt boys will give you medicine. If they do not have the required medicine, they will change the formula and give you another medicine. Also, they will tell you about the usage and dosage of the medicine. It is very hot in Pakistan, while it is written on the top of every medicine that it should be kept in a temperature below 25 degrees, while for many medicines and injections, 5 degrees centigrade is recommended. Look around your city and region and see that all the medicines are kept at a temperature of more than 40 degrees. Pakistan has now become the world‘s largest country in the use of gastrointestinal drugs. Every third person is using omeprazole. This is such a dangerous drug that with its continuous use you can become a permanent diabetic and suffer from many other complications. But most of our doctors consider it necessary to give it with every medicine. The patient leaves the rest of the medicine with time, but continues to use it as a harmless stomach medicine. This stomach medicine available in Pakistan is of very poor quality. But in this ignorant society, this poison is being spread by the Messiah. Now, in every street of the city, two small factories for making medicines have been built in houses. While there are many other problems in Pakistan, most of its population is deprived of health facilities and the government is not taking any positive steps in this regard. AIDS, jaundice and other infectious diseases are spreading rapidly in Pakistan. Which is very important to address. If proper legislation and enforcement is done in this country, it can be controlled. The number two drug business involves all those who are determined to stop it. Where the watchman becomes a thief, who will protect it? The government should immediately close these black markets of medicines and at the same time create a task force and bring the drug dealers and drug manufacturers who are playing with health under the law. And at the same time, like the world, doctors should be obliged to prescribe generic names of medicines. Do not write the given names of the companies, which will make cheaper medicines available to patients instead of expensive medicines. And the government should determine the prices of medicines in Pakistan and not companies and individuals should be given this authority. If the government does these few good things, then the troubled people of Pakistan who are suffering from health problems will be able to breathe a sigh of relief. Otherwise, after some time in this junkyard of health, all the organs of these people will become unusable. And all this will happen in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
