The mayor of Soragna (Parma) Matteo Concari, 45, died today in Salsomaggiore while he was participating in a ceremony in honor of the Bersaglieri.
The mayor accused an illness that knocked him to the ground.
Attempts to revive him were unfortunately useless.
A tragedy that took place in front of many fellow mayors and citizens.
Concari, former councilor in Soragna, was elected in September 2020.
On Tuesday 5 July he would have celebrated his birthday.
