In Cesar they will receive an incentive to achieve tariff justice in energy

Nine Cesarense municipalities were included in the Production Incentive Resolution, signed by the Minister of Mines and Energy, Omar Camacho, in Riohacha, La Guajira, to achieve tariff justice in the energy service.

At this event, attended as a delegate of the governor by the Secretary of Mines, Carlos Ríos, the territories were established as sources of affordable and environmentally friendly energy.

Aguachica, Agustín Codazzi, Becerril, Chiriguaná, El Paso, La Jagua de Ibirico, Río de Oro, San Alberto and San Martín, as producing municipalities, will receive the incentive that is a source of resources, through the General Royalties System, converted in opportunities for regions that are committed to the production of hydrocarbons and minerals; in addition to articulating the commitment of Governor Elvia Milena Sanjuán Dávila, to alleviate energy costs in the homes of Cesar.

Secretary Carlos Arturo Ríos pointed out that this ratifies the commitment of the Cesar Government to the energy transition, becoming a department allied to this great commitment of the National Government.

“At Cesar we are committed to the formulation of projects, so to the extent that we articulate with the Ministry of Mines and Energy, viability will be much easier; “We have always been attentive from the department to accompany the National Government, because we are, together with the brothers of La Guajira, an energy power and we want you to know that we support and are attentive to the measures for the reduction, and achieve the long-awaited tariff justice,” the secretary said.

Carlos Ríos also pointed out that “we want the mayors, hospitals, and high-consumption municipalities to come together so that they are the first producers of electrical energy, we will begin to have that experience from these public entities, and surely when we are successful, when “These projects are consolidated, the energy communities in villages and townships will be able to function more easily.”
